Project overview:

This substantial Victorian home had previously been extended four times, leading to a convoluted, dark and inefficient floorplan. The primary focus was to re-organise the plans, working with the existing structure where possible, to fit with modern family life.

A simple single storey rear extension was introduced to provide the space to ‘link’ all areas of the ground floor whilst also creating a light filled, inviting space for the family.

The client, an artist, used the space as a canvas, bringing colour and animation to the home.

The project was completed in 2022.
