Project overview:

Previously a small mid-terraced home in Hitchin, the clients wanted to extend their home to create a better connection to the garden, relocating the bathroom from the ground floor, whilst maintaining three bedrooms.

 A combination of natural brick and charred larch timber cladding provide a contemporary but sympathetic material palette.

Aloft conversion on the top floor provides a spacious third bedroom.

The project was completedi n 2020 – mid pandemic!
